This is definitely part of my top 3 fights so far. The animation and pacing was just amazing (unlike the shitty fights we got during the Inoue rescue arc) 10/10 episode

Oh golly, so this is where the fight scenes finally get a lot more budget! Hisagi's fight, though short, was very mesmerizing to see, like seeing a blade dance in the wind.

Imo these fights are better than ishida and renji x the pink haired guy, or Nnoitra x Zaraki. I think it's because they don't take so uselessly long. The pacing just ruins it all (one piece spoiler) reminds me of one piece, where fight with lucci was 30 episodes long and boring as hell.
